The Bible was revealed to people living in cultures that were very different from our own. How do these differences affect our understanding of Scripture? This course will compare several major cultural themes found in biblical societies with those of modern American Society. Being aware of these cultural similarities and differences will not only enhance our understanding of the Bible, but it will also enable us to better apply Scriptural truth in our own lives and ministries.
